The OB/GYN PA is an integral part of the health care team. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing OB team as we expand into the future. This PA will have the opportunity to learn and develop a multitude of OB/GYN skills and procedures. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday schedule may vary 8:00am-6:00pm. This position will support two locations, 1250 Waters Place, Bronx NY and 141 S Central Ave, Hartsdale, NY.

Preferred Criteria:

· Ideal candidates for this role have at least one year of experience in OB or GYN

· Epic EMR system

Required Criteria:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies

· Current NYS licensure

· NCCPA certification

Salary Range:

$122,000-$155,000/Annual

Salary:$45.06 – $56.65/hr Distinguishing Features of the Class: Under general supervision, an incumbent of this class is responsible for technical work involving the operation of complex x-ray equipment for the purpose of taking radiographs of various designated portions of the body using special procedures, to assist physicians in the detection of foreign bodies and the diagnosis of diseases and injuries. Work involves the proper positioning of patient, the development of the x-rays, the maintenance of radiographic files for a prescribed period. Lead Technologist (Special Procedures) is distinguished from Senior Technologist in that incumbents must possess training and/or previous experience in the performance of special radiological procedures, such as the operation of CAT Scan equipment, and are assigned in one of these specialty areas. Partial supervision may be exercised over x-ray technicians, non-professional and clerical support staff in the way of quality control of work, and providing technical assistance. Does related work as required. Examples of Work: (Illustrative Only) Positions and instructs patients in preparation for taking x-rays using special procedures such as CAT scan, angiograph or neurographic studies; Makes adjustments to x-ray equipment to correct setting for each examination taking into consideration proper voltage, current and desired exposure time as prescribed by the attending physician; Takes x-rays as prescribed or requisitioned of all parts of the body for diagnostic purposes; Develops or reviews the development of exposed films; Prepares and maintains records and files of radiographs; Purges outdated files, as directed; Troubleshoots and maintains x-ray equipment; Requisitions film and supplies, as needed; Mails x-ray films to organizations and physicians, as requested; Provides training and technical direction to lower level technicians and non-professional support staff. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes: Thorough knowledge of the techniques used in radiography, including those used for special procedures such as CAT scan, angiographic and neurographic studies; thorough knowledge of all modern procedures and techniques involved in the taking of x-ray films for diagnostic purposes; good knowledge of the operation of all types of radiographic equipment, including those used in special procedures; good knowledge of human anatomy; good knowledge of the techniques of radiography; skill in the operation and minor repair of x-ray producing equipment; ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written directions; ability to direct and instruct others; ability to handle sick and injured patients properly; thoroughness; reliability; good judgment; physical condition commensurate with the requirements of the position.
