Opportunity Details:

The Primary Care Physician trains and supervises medical trainees, students, and mid-level providers in the scope of adult ambulatory services
Participate in peer review, quality assurance, department and division meetings, and faculty development sessions
This is a full-time position - flexible 40 hours per week, which includes evenings and weekends (off hours coverage is on a rotating basis)

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $224,000* (board eligible); $229,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $321,020** (board eligible) and $326,520** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

Responsibilities

An emergency, for these purposes, is defined as a situation in which any delay in administering treatment would result in serious harm to the patient or an immediate threat to life of the patient and that a qualified practitioner is not immediately available.
In addition to the core skills listed here, PAs, will request validation to perform department specific skills.

Responsibilities

BLS, ACLS, PALS certification, Infection control and DEA required.
